Music is always better when its loud. That’s how Disciple, Red, and Skillet kept it this year at Uprise Festival in Pennsylvania. Known for its assuring slogan, “It’s more than just a music festival, it’s an experience” – each band put on a dynamic performance, living up to the hype.

The two day Christian based festival welcomed in the brisk, fall weather with a number of talented acts and pulled out all the stops in its 13th year. Disciple kicked off the festival in hard rock fashion with their heavy musical style. Red, the post-grunge outfit, intensified the party all while giving back to a state that helped jumpstart their career. As if Uprise couldn’t get any wilder, Skillet took the stage by storm and nearly blew it up, literally.

Uprise Fest is always a sight to behold and one of the area’s best weekend extravaganzas. It takes a lot to give the fans what they want year after year, but the men and women behind Uprise Fest succeeded once again.
