Reuben Vincent talks Mario Kart, his recording process and collaborating with Grammy Award winner 9th Wonder


Reuben Vincent is a young, emerging hip-hop recording artist from Charlotte, N.C. that first received recognition at 13 years old from local Grammy Award winner 9th Wonder. Following his connection with the award winning producer, the young artist found himself on the map and has released a number tracks while working on his upcoming project titled Supernova.

Using Bow Wow as inspiration, Reuben Vincent has always planned on having a career in hip-hop, however his journey has started sooner than most. However, despite his youth, the Charlotte native learned and is now up to par when comes to recording process and creating beats, boasting experience beyond his age.

Reuben Vincent has developed a lot since stepping behind the microphone and his lyrics bear evidence. He’s formed his own sound, certainly unique to the area and represents the newest generation of hip-hop to emerge from the Queen City.
