NEEDTOBREATHE receive warm welcome home on their Tour De Compadres

It’s a special feeling to witness a special homecoming show for any band in the music industry nowadays. When Needtobreathe, the rock ‘n’ roll foursome hailing from South Carolina travels homeward for a show, you can tell from the band themselves that they’re home; the crowd feels it, the band feels it, their families feel it. It’s a feeling like no other.

Needtobreathe brought their second leg of their Tour De Compadres to the town of Greenville, S.C., with Welshly Arms, Parachute and Mat Kearney along for the ride too. With 50 some dates behind them, this was the next to the last date on this wild and wonderful tour. Thousands and thousands of miles led Needtobreathe to close out Tour De Compadres in Greenville, a town that feels like home to them.

There are these special bands out in the world that give every ounce of them on every single tour date, no matter if its the very first date or nearing the end, Needtobreathe is one of those bands. Fans watching them from down front look up at their expressions, you could tell they were happy to be at a place where they could see familiar faces in the crowd, family on the sidelines, and an arena full of happy and free souls breathing in what was being sung to them.

From the beginning drum beat to the last ring of the guitar, the southern gentlemen of Needtobreathe gave their fans every ounce of them like they promised.

I’m gonna need you to dance a little bit harder. I’m gonna need you smile a little bit bigger. I’m gonna need you to lose your minds!

Front man, Bear Rinehart reminded his dedicated fans as he climbed off stage to get closer. Fans gave back to the band; looking around the arena at any point during Needtobreathe’s set you could see their fans smiling ear to ear, jumping around, having the time of their lives, even some tears rolling down some cheeks too.

After four months of touring, Needtobreathe played their last two shows that they deserved. There wasn’t a single ounce of energy and love wasted between sets and band members. The band reminded their fans that they were still and will remain in the best spot they are right now as a band with relationships- Tour De Compadres 2016 was proof of that. The love each member has for each other and for what they do for a living was shown.
