Brad Paisley spent a night at PNC Music Pavilion and shared a whole lotta love this weekend. The country music artist that emerged in the early 2000s helped presented a fan’s marriage proposal and created a venue-wide singalong with his classic “Mud On the Tires.” It was a night to remember for those in attendance, especially North Carolinians, as Paisley showed his affection for the state in more ways than one.
In addition to his black Hendrick Motorsports t-shirt, Paisley flashed clips of the Panthers, Wolfpack and Tar Heels on the big screen during a few of his songs. After measuring the size of the different fanbases at his show through cheers, Paisley brought everyone together for one night through music.
Paisley’s support for athletics, most notably college football is well known. In addition to playing a few more amphitheaters on the east coast, the West Virginia native is scheduled to perform at five universities in October.
