G-Eazy and Logic aren’t usually the first rappers the come up in a hip-hop conversation. They’re an underrated pair. Their popularity is growing and somehow they’re still flying under the radar. Maybe it’s their appearance. G-Eazy doesn’t dress like a stereotypical rapper and he’s a college graduate, unlike a number of the most popular hip-hop artists in the industry. He’s chiseled and rocks a slick, pompadour hairstyle with a leather jacket. He resembles more of a retro greaser than anything else.
However, when it comes to album sales and Spotify plays, he’s on the level of Wiz Khalifa. G-Eazy’s second studio album When It’s Dark Out recently became certified platinum, joining a short list of respected hip-hop albums including Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV.
G-Eazy’s a success and according to reviews from previous shows, his brilliance extends into his live performances. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Bay Area rapper’s “finesse on stage looked nearly effortless” and added that his “energy was manic from the top with opening songs “Random” and “You Got Me.”
To add to the excitement, G-Eazy added Maryland rapper Logic to the The Endless Summer Tour’s card who reportedly brings just as much excitement.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Logic “displayed a similarly engaging stage presence and energy along with layers of talent, not only with his speedy, concise rapping style but his finesse at producing beats live on stage” during their stop in Missouri.
Tickets for The Endless Summer Tour on July 19 in Charlotte can be purchased here and start at $30.
