North Carolina wants The Struts, and they’re about to get them… again.
After an impactful performance at Carolina Rebellion, one of the nation’s largest rock festivals, two months ago, The Struts return to North Carolina playing at Cat’s Cradle on July 15. The English rock band led by vocalist Luke Spiller (hailed as the next Freddie Mercury) boast a retro, classic rock style mixed with an undeniable sing-along vibe that’s nearly impossible to resist.
The Struts only have one full-length album (Everybody Wants) to their name, however the promising musicians have played in front of 80,000 in Paris opening for The Rolling Stones and boast nearly 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. They’re headed for the limelight and Spiller knows it. He’s prepared for the success and doesn’t envision himself doing anything else.
I was born to do this, and I’ll die doing it.
At the moment, Spiller and co. are certainly spending plenty of time “doing it.” Touring on behalf of Everybody Wants, The Struts schedule is jam-packed with few days off between now and October. Their busy calendar is understandable, Everybody Wants received high-praise across the music industry’s popular outlets. The Struts are attracting fans from across the globe. Whether it’s opening for a legendary rock band or playing on Carolina Rebellion’s main stage, listeners are taking notice and The Struts are providing an opportunity to enjoy their music in an intimate setting, before it’s too late.
Tickets for The Struts show at Cat’s Cradle are still on sale and can be purchased here for $15 ahead of time.
