Pierce The Veil dive into Atlanta

Pierce The Veil hit the road in June touring on behalf of their most recent album release, Misadventures, and will dive into Atlanta at The Masquerade on June 19. The Southern Californians announced that they plan on leaving their audience with a once in a lifetime, unforgettable experience, performing Misadventures from back to front. It’s rare for bands to present an album’s entirety anymore while on tour, however Vic Fuentes (vocals) stated in an interview with Loudwire that the band is committed to bringing the method back into prominence, at least for one tour.

My dad was saying, back in the ’70s, a lot of bands would do that. They’d have a new album and they would just play it. We really wanted to do that, and we’ve been touring on our last record for — we went on it for like four years. I think the time has come to really come strong with new music.

Pierce The Veil released Misadventures three weeks ago to acclaimed success. Alternative Press applauded the four-year project, stating that “every single track is a winner” while Radio.com said that Misadventures is Sweeter than Baskin-Robbins’ Gold Medal Ribbon.

If there’s one band that could execute the ’70s routine to perfection, it’s Pierce The Veil with Misadventures. The four-piece post hardcore rockers have been nominated for a myriad of awards over the past few years and even won Best Liveband (Alternative Press Music Award) in 2014. If anything, an argument can be made that PTV has only improved since their renowned recognition.

A Huffington Post writer stated that “out of my seven years of going to concerts, [Pierce The Veil] could easily be ranked in the top five best.”

Fuentes’ remarkable vocals paired with Jaime Preciado’s and Mike Fuentes’s award-winning bass and guitar will pierce the speakers inside the The Masquerade, June 19. Tickets for Pierce The Veil’s Misadventures tour can still be purchased here for a few non sold-out shows.
