Ever heard of a band that’s contracted worldwide success without a full length album? If you haven’t yet, you have now. LANY is the talk of the town following a sold out tour of the UK and Europe.
The Los Angeles based band shared another track off their eagerly-awaited debut album, LANY, set for release via Interscope on June 30. The three-piece offers a crafty, dreamy pop sound along the lines of Phoenix and Glass Animals. The feel good vibe is thanks to friends: Paul Jason Klein, Leslie Priest and Jake Goss. The trio of multi-instrumentalists hooked up while studying music in college… and the rest in history up to this point.
The track “tells the starry-eyed story of a burgeoning romance that never made it to fruition, with languorous synths peppering singer Paul Klein’s wistful, nostalgic vocals.”
LANY is set to support John Mayer on an upcoming tour that will stop through Charlotte, Asheville and Charleston. For more information regarding the tour and LANY, visit here.
