Carolina Rebellion showcases Avenged Sevenfold, Def Leppard, Soundgarden, the best rock has to offer in 2017

The Mid-Atlantic’s biggest rock festival (and loudest festival) returns to North Carolina for the seventh year and all signs point to 2017 being its biggest yet. Bolstered by the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Def Leppard, and Soundgarden – the 60 total bands set to perform at the Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. are guaranteed to boil your blood (in a good way).

M Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold said:

We are losing our minds at the thought of bringing our new music and show to the Carolina Rebellion. The Stage has been set!

The three-day, epic soirée in early May (6th-8th) will feature A Perfect Circle, The Offspring, The Cult, Volbeat, Mastodon, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Seether, Chevelle, Alter Bridge, Tesla, The Pretty Reckless, Eagles of Death Metal, Highly Suspect, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, plus many more.

Many bands including Korn return for the first time since 2015, however this year, the rock legends bring new music with them. With added songs on their setlist, notably from their 12th studio album The Serenity Of Suffering. Over the past six months, the band has toured extensively, perfecting their live show which will undeniably benefit any and all rebels.

For those who favor the punk side of rock, Carolina Rebellion will satisfy that desire. Pierce The Veil, Falling In Reverse and Sum 41 highlight the genre – each offering something unique. For those unfamiliar with each, Pierce The Veil is notorious for their live shows – winners of Alternative Press’ Best Liveband – while Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse consistently leaves his audience wanting more.

Both bands carry new albums with them into Carolina Rebellion. While Pierce The Veil is only a year removed from releasing Misadventures, their most commercially successful record to date, Falling In Reverse unveiled their fourth studio album Coming Home recently to high praise.

With Carolina Rebellion’s storied success over the past half-decade, welcoming 90,000 fans last year, the most in history, it’s no surprise that the three day festival could be in for its biggest year yet.

Joe Elliott of Def Leppard commented:
