Live Nation declares National Concert Day, $20 Muse, Rise Against, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Young The Giant tickets

Concert goers rejoice, Live Nation officially declared May 1, National Concert Day, launching its Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion which included one million tickets for $20 with no extra service charges – “that’s all-in, no additional fees,” Live Nation said. Simply $20, no more, no less.

The list of participating artists and shows includes Boston with Joan Jett, Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert, Chicago and The Doobie Brothers, Chris Brown, Dead & Company, Def Leppard, Rise Against & Deftones, Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Aldean, John Mayer, Kings Of Leon, Korn, Lady Antebellum, Muse, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Sublime, Third Eye Blind, Train, Young The Giant and many more.

“Presented by State Farm and produced by Live Nation, National Concert Day is a time for artists and fans to unite around their love of live music,” a press release from Live Nation reads. “With most tours and festivals already announced, it’s also a great time for fans to plan out their summer concert schedule throughout May, June, July and August.”

Additionally, Live Nation has teamed up with State Farm to host a concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza on National Concert Day. The lineup includes includes artists Jason Aldean, Foreigner, The Roots, Daughtry, Prince Royce, Third Eye Blind, Incubus, Straight No Chaser, The KIDZ Bop Kids, Nickelback and more.

The “Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion” begins Tuesday, May 2 at 8am local time, and continues for one week through Tuesday, May 9. Let the countdown begin!
