California native Nick Waterhouse is a truly self made man. Releasing his first single on his own in 2010, he launched his career. Since then, he’s been featured in high end car commercials and numerous Playstation games. Most recently, Nick Waterhouse brought his retro-soul stylings to the newly relocated Hell Stage of the iconic Atlanta venue The Masquerade. In company of his band The Tarots, L.A.’s Waterhouse played to an intimate crowd that was eager to witness a live presentation of Waterhouse’s recently released LP Never Twice, and Waterhouse, in turn, delivered a riveting 90 minute concert.

With a start time of 9:15 p.m., Waterhouse and The Tarots wasted no time in showing those in attendance they were in for a fun-filled night of soulful, jazzy retro-soul. Decked in all blue casual attire, Waterhouse unleashes several noteworthy numbers off his new LP like “It’s Time”, “Stanyan Street” and “L.A. Turnaround” in addition to past hits like “Holly” and “Some Place”. Though Waterhouse’s passionate vocals steal the show, each member of The Tarot’s is given their moment in the spotlight. The group is a powerhouse of talent, and this show is not one to be missed by any music lover.

Be sure to catch their L.A. show before Waterhouse and The Tarots continue their groovy tour throughout Asia and Europe next.
