Maggie Schneider honors Atlanta music venue, The Masquerade with “695 North Avenue” music video

Bright-eyed and bubbly new artist, and Atlanta native Maggie Schneider paid homage to the city’s historic venue, The Masquerade, with the new music video to her song “695 North Avenue.” If you’re anything like Schneider, the memories of the original venue are endless.

The title of the track is a tribute to The Masquerade’s original address before they switched locations last year and is a dedication to the management and crew for all they’ve done. Schneider adds:

“It’s a place dear to my heart, and I feel like I’ve grown up there. 695 North Avenue was the original address of the venue before they moved to another space last year, and it will always serve as my musical home. So many of my favorite memories took place in this building, from singing live with State Champs to a sold-out crowd, to dancing the nights away with my best friends. I am so thankful for all of the moments I’ve spent at The Masquerade, and for all of the support that the management and crew have given me over the years. This song is dedicated to them and all that they’ve done for both myself and the Atlanta music scene as a whole.”

The artist just released her brand new EP, Tinted Glasses, which is a culmination of fresh, honest, and open-hearted lyrics discussing relationships, growing up, and navigating through life.

“All four songs on Tinted Glasses are very personal and are about the experiences and memories that have shaped me as both a young woman and as an artist,” Schneider said. “The EP explores the highs and lows of life and relationships; it’s about how I’ve grown up in the last year, and the moments and people that have impacted my life thus far. I’m thankful for both the ups and downs because they’ve made me a stronger person and have enriched my music. I hope that people feel connected to these songs.”

Throughout her career, Maggie Schneider has opened for State Champs, Jonny Craig, Like Pacific, and Courage My Love, to name a few. She is gearing up for an upcoming performance at New York City’s oldest rock and roll club, The Bitter End, on March 18 with the NY Songwriters Group. More information can be found here.
