Carolina Rebellion, produced Danny Wimmer Presents and AEG Presents, is returning to Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. for the eighth year running. This year, a variety of the genre’s chart-topping rock icons and the up-and-coming prodigies will convene for a three-day (May 4-6), epic soirée guaranteed to boil your blood (in a good way).

“In all of the Carolinas there is only one music festival that has this kind of variety in a single weekend, spanning the rock spectrum and the decades of rock history,” Joe Litvag, Executive Producer of Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion, said. “From Queens of the Stone Age, and Incubus to Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Shinedown, Halestorm, and Alice In Chains, Breaking Benjamin, Stone Temple Pilots…it doesn’t stop. And that is exactly what we wanted to accomplish for this year’s Carolina Rebellion—non-stop, incredible rock from a diverse range of top artists.”
The Mid-Atlantic’s Biggest Rock Festival will feature over 60 bands including Shinedown, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice In Chains, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Incubus, Billy Idol, Breaking Benjamin, and many more.
“We are extremely honored to be playing Carolina Rebellion 2018,” Shinedown vocalist Brent Smith said. “We have always admired how this event has grown year after year. With that being said, let’s get it on. Cya in May, Rebels!!!”
Muse will accompany the headlining heavyweights, on what will be their only American festival performance of 2018.
“To have the lone North American festival appearance of Muse is a real moment,” Gary Spivack, Executive Vice President of Danny Wimmer Presents, said. “They are going to bring the production and their hits. Being as it is a special moment for them it’s that’s going to be one of the highlights.”
Underoath, who recently reintroduced themselves to the rock scene with brand new single “In My Teeth,” will perform at Carolina Rebellion for the first time this May. On the other hand, In This Moment returns for the second consecutive year after drawing nearly the entire festival crowd to their mid afternoon set last year. This year the band will bring their recently released Ritual to the campgrounds with a brand new stage show, unlike last year’s.
The music will unfold across four separate stages and the festival will once again include top-notch food including a “world-class BBQ village.”
The stage is set for another Monster year and only one question remains: Are you ready to get rocked?
