If you’ve ever driven through Charlotte with the local alternative rock station playing, it’s likely you’ve heard Dreamers. Also if you were at 106.5 The End’s Birthday Bash last summer, you saw Dreamers. The Manhattan rock trio has been up and down the East Coast, in and around Charlotte for the majority of 2017 and is due back Tuesday, March 20 with New Politics on the Lost In Translation tour.

Dreamers is as infectious as they get. In 2014, Alternative Press named Dreamers one of their 100 Bands You Need To Know. Shortly after, the band signed with Fairfax Records, finalized their three man lineup and relocated to Los Angeles. Dreamer’s debut record This Album Does Not Exist and premier track “Sweet Disaster,” which peaked at No. 7 in the alternative rock charts, followed in 2016 and it’s been touring and recording ever since.
With that said, this stop in Charlotte is guaranteed to be a little different than their performance in the summer. In late 2017, Dreamers recorded a cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” which has become not only a fan favorite, but also a tribute to the late Dolores O’Riordan.
“Zombie” has “become our tribute to her, her art, and her incredible otherworldly voice that continues to transport me and so many others to that un-nameable place,” Nick Wold said.
With that said, there’s no telling what other new tunes Dreamers will bring with them this time around.
