You’ve Got To Hear This! VÉRITÉ reveals “When You’re Gone” music video

In anticipation of her debut album Somewhere in Between, VÉRITÉ released an artful music video for album opener “When You’re Gone.” Visit here to watch the dark techno-noir visual for the must-hear track.

VÉRITÉ has attracted considerable attention in advance of her debut album, thanks to numerous hit singles and well-crafted EPs. Billboard calls the singer-songwriter, “…an artist capable of delivering a sweeping hook while emphasizing the subtler details of her arrangements” while Entertainment Weekly applauds “Brooklyn’s VÉRITÉ [confronts] inevitable heartbreak and disappointment with icy synths and explosive hooks.”

The video takes an inside look at a dark dinner party where VÉRITÉ is seated at the head, surrounded by a mix of strangers.

“This video grew from an email I sent to director, Charlie Manton about a cult dinner party,” the artist explained. “The idea and concept morphed and grew into this final visual. We shot in this insane, historic estate in Kent. I wanted to create a beautiful video that could leave people guessing a little.”

VÉRITÉ is set to head out on a North American headlining tour beginning August 23. The tour will swing through Chapel Hill, N.C. at Local 506 on September 20. More information on the show and tickets can be purchased here. Stream VÉRITÉ’s full catalog below via Spotify:
